August 8th, 1998 (DAY 2)
WoW!
When yesterday I said: "Tomorrow the research begins",
I hadn't the faintest idea how TRUE that would actually be.
We started the day 8.30am and ate breakfast, of course I thought that we would be the last, but in fact the garden was empty and breakfast hadn't even started yet!
Same as yesterday, the food was to lick your thumbs and fingers:
Coffee, Orange-juice, warm croissants and jam from pears and walnuts: never to forget.
(I promise, this is the last time I talk about the *absolutely delicious* food and make your mouths water.)
After breakfast, we would start; 1st on our list would be the visit to the
church/chapel in RLC.(Writers Note: The church is actually NEXT to the Villa Bethania and is only a few meters walking distance from our breakfast table)
In the garden enjoying breakfast, we had already noticed a very intriguing woman.
Being 50, Italian type; Wild, Short black hair and pretty cool dressed.
She was definitely into the occult, apparently it's easy to recognize ones' own kind.
And so arrived at the church, we did what any other common tourist would do, hurry up taking pictures since the church is only open for 15 minutes each hour.
And yes, coming outside of the church awaited us the Italian woman, who named BRUNA...
To our surprise, Bruna had already been studying the
Rennes-le-Château mystery for 15 years!Suddenly we felt like complete amateurs, even though I had already read a great deal before coming to RLC.
She had alot to tell us but I discovered that I too could give her some new information inside this huge, complex mystery.
What struck me immediately was her urgent need to know what OUR vision was upon the mystery.
And so I explained her that I believe there is indeed MATERIAL Treasure, as history points out, but that I also believe there is a more profound treasure somewhere in the valley of RLC.
Why I said these things?
I wouldn't know...probably read to much "Henry Lincoln stuff"; but before coming to RLC, Lotje and I agreed that we wouldn't look for the treasure in the way everyone else does...WE would go for our intuition.
And that's exactly what I told her.
From the one thing, came the other and so we continued our conversation for
about an hour in front of the already closed church portal.We talked about the books we had read, about the Prieuré de Sion, about Mary Magdalen, etc..
Like all this wasn't already weird enough (considering that we had just set our FIRST FOOT in RLC), a local villager woman came to us and joined in on the conversation.
The three of us immediately felt it when we were talking to this mysterious Woman: she was ONE powerful source of spirituality.
She was very critical and perhaps even a bit cynical about the entire RLC mystery.
(Well, who can blame her if you see crazy tourists arriving every day.)
The most striking thing she told us was:
"I know much, but I DEFINITTELY don't want to know everything"
"There are so many books written and everyone adds their piece of fantasy to the mystery, the only thing that is but a bit acceptable is the COMICBOOK"
"Read my biography soon, but it won't be about RLC...ah well, perhaps just a little paragraph."
"I have to feed my cat now" and she walked away...
does this sound like a bad movie script or what??
Anyway...the entire figure of her was so interesting and overwhelming that I think I'll never forget those sentences.
but back to Bruna.
After this talkative morning and a part of the afternoon, Bruna, Lotje and I decided to go have our lunch together in the garden of Villa Bethania.
Bruna happened to be a psychologist/parapsychologist and soon 3 hours passed and our conversation became REAL deep, talking without scruples about ANY possible theories that could fit within this mystery
(note: all this in loud French, so EVERYONE could hear us..it wasn't my intent but the three of us became so passionate in our conversation that we quickly forgot our surroundings.)
But the best part is yet to come..
Bruna believes that the descendants of the GRAIL FAMILY (Whom she knows she belongs to, will all come together in RLC to solve the mystery, for they are the only ones that are REALLY capable of doing what must be done.)
Weirdly enough she told us that she had had a vision in which she had seen me and Lotje sitting in the garden of the Villa Bethania, next to a big amfora...
After hearing us out (and in me in particular); she said she was almost certain that I to am a member of the Grail family.
She examined my name (NICO SELS, SEL means salt in French)and put up all sorts of arguments to convince me of this fact.
Bruna told us that NO ONE accidentally ends up in RLC, everyone comes there for a reason...and all persons that get there will have to play a final role in the mystery.
The Grail family will be the ones that will go through the 9 transformations to fight the ultimate battle between GOOD and EVIL...Armageddon..
Dear readers: are you still with me?
All of a sudden, she decided that we had to go find the others, that no
doubt would be here too.
Different people, with different abilities that together can solve the
mystery 'forment une equipe' as she liked to say.
Oh my EGO!! what a joke!!!!!
and yet....
