August 9h, 1998 (DAY 3)

Our second day in Rennes-le-Château, what strange events will happen to us today?
I can only wonder, because apparently each day in RLC brings something special my direction.
It feels as if we're getting closer to... something...what?

Villa Bethania and in the distance

At 9.00am breakfast in the garden, same breakfast as yesterday, but still as delicious as before.
(ohps! I promised I wouldn't discuss food anymore!) Pondering at the breakfast table, I think of the dream I had last night., a dream of which I'm CERTAIN has significant meaning..

Le croissant de lune.It went like this:
I dreamt of a magical object, a sickle in a first quarter-moon shape, entirely laid out in gold.
The point of the object was very sharp, like a knife and it's purpose WAS to cut someone with.
A woman (I think it was the local RLC villager woman I named yesterday), wanted to cut me with the object. Cutting someone with the sharp point, would mean an instant alteration of energy, but not necessarily a POSITIVE alteration.
Being very much aware of this, I overmastered the woman and took the object from her, so I could protect it from evil persons. At a time Lotje had it in her hands, she too tried to cut me with it, so I overmastered HER this time, and in this process accidentally cut her in her arm with it.
I had cut my best friend...and then I woke up.

Strange enough, that morning, Lotje got a bee sting in her arm, and the wound looked VERY much like the one I saw in my dream.

Does this capture the GK3mood or what! And so, after breakfast we again started to talk with Bruna and the three of us decided to go to Rennes-les-bains, on foot! (since we hadn't another option, I do not drive a car)
We had only placed a few feet into the village and Bruna had already started a conversation with some French people.
I was so embarrassed, because immediately, Bruna started to explain all her theories to these people, and these were NOT the kind of people to tell such things to. I can't blame them for looking strange at her when she was telling them that she was confident that Marie-Magdalen and Saunière are STILL alive in some cave in the surroundings...These French people had also some theories of their own, but for some reason the poor people didn't really get the chance to explain them to us...
It's always fun walking around with Bruna?! hmmhmm...
Anyway, when we told the Frenchmen that we were going to Rennes-Les-Bains by foot, they thought we were crazy.
That in particular didn't scare me, because a couple of days in France taught me that the locals are QUITE lazy concerning "walking on foot". But when they explained that there was nothing to see, since a lot had been removed or stolen in the church, I decided that the 10km(6.2 mile) walk in the August sun wasn't worth it.

Day Three Continued....
