The story:
In this, the second Gabriel Knight adventure, you play as both Gabriel Knight, and Grace Nakimura. While attempting to work on a new "Black Backlash" book, the duty of Schattenjäger calls upon him once again.

Apparently, a young girl has been brutally murdered just outside of Munich. The police are baffled, and the only suspects they have are some escaped wolves from a nearby zoo. Although they are doing all they can, a native of Rittersburg/relative to the murdered child knows what realy killed the girl. She was killed by a werewolf! The residents of Rittersburg want Gabriel to hunt it down, and kill it. (sounds easy enough!)

This adventure takes Gabriel and Grace through Munich, the Black Woods of Bavaria, and through the castles of crazy old Ludwig II. Although Gabriel meets many people on this excursion, the only one close enough to him him that he is almost willing to trust is... his lawyer!!! (pretty bad, huh?) Well, Gabriel decides to keep looking, and makes friends with a man known as Baron Friedrich von Glower. He is the leader of the "Royal Bavarian Hunting Lodge," and he wants Gabriel in the club. What a coincidence! Just what Gabriel needed!

While Gabriel is making new friends (and enemies) in Munich, Grace is at his family's castle in Rittersburg, and she's angry that Gabriel didn't invite her to go with him! So, she decides to do a little research of her own to help him out. (Isn't she just a sweetie!) She soon discovers that this isn't the first time that Schattenjägers have dealt with werewolves, and she then makes it her mission to find out where Gabriel is, and "save him." And well... I can't tell you any more, because that would be taking away from the story TOO much!!

She and Gabriel know what they have to do, and they must do it quickly, or the murders will go on victim after victim...
