August 12th, 1998 (DAY 6 Con't)

Lotje, hanging sick out of the car, proposed to stop the car for a while. Intuitively I felt that a healing would be in place here and that it might help me too. We sat ourselves down in the grass, where I rubbed my hands and let healing energy flow through her body. There was an amazingly large sum of "dirty energy" inside her, but I was able to remove it completely. After 5 minutes, both of us felt a lot better.

Well..not entirely:
Having Bruna on the wheel, is an adventure on it's own; steering cheerfully at a high speed through the forest and next to the cliffs, happily laughing while JUST barely not hitting an opposite car.
Arriving in Rennes-les-Bains we noticed that the people seemed to be a bit brain dead. It almost looked like a ghost town, even when it was inhabited!! The strange difference with the people hanging around in RLC struck me immediately, or was it my imagination again playing with me after this mornings frightful events?

Sitting on the terrace of a little café, I told Bruna something about myself that I thought to be relevant to the mystery. Unfortunately dear readers I'm not putting it in this diary, cause it simply is to crazy for everyone to read....
Anyway, I don't think I'll be returning to Rennes-les-Bains anytime soon, cause I think half of the inhabitants heard my "secret", and looking back at this NOW I regret that I ever told Bruna...
(If anyone was falling asleep while reading this diary entry, I bet I've got your attention now! ;-)
Why do I keep pushing Bruna away and yet keep on attracting her???

After this, again long conversation on the terrace, Lotje and I were starved. Bruna, being a "fully developed woman" (In all the meanings of the word as she pointed out herself)
didn't need food so much or so often, as we youngsters, so she decided to sit down and wait until we came back from our lunch (Wherever it may be that we'll eat lunch in this sleeping city!)
We opened the door of a suspiciously looking DARK restaurant, to find that there were actually LIVING people inside! Among them was someone we already knew:
The local mysterious RLC-villager woman that we had met the first day. "Are eyes watching us?" I wondered....
Oh it was a LONG time ago that I met such narrow-minded, simple people then the people working in that restaurant.
When I asked for a fresh salad, the woman looked at me like I came from another planet, then the goat looked with her squint-eyes at ANOTHER goat standing next to her...
"Nous avons Salade Verte?" (which actually means getting a freshly plucked salad on your plate, as it is presented by nature.)
"Non, merçi!" (No, thank you)
After half an hour negotiating with the woman, I actually succeeded in ordering HAM (and when I say HAM, I mean HAM and ONLY HAM.) 10 minutes later I was curiously looking at the boring, lonely slice of ham that lies all by itself on my big white plate. ah well..at least I could silence my hunger!
After asking 3 times for the omelet Lotje ordered, and after finally having chunked the food down.
We decided to get the hell out of here as soon as possible! I have never felt so alienated in my entire life!!!
